Company History.

LuxSoft, a scientific-technological company, was officially registered on June 1, 1997.
Actually, our software originated in the year 1989 when we took part in a major inventory automatization project for the Metalcooptorg depot under the Tula Regional Department of  Gossnab of the USSR. It was then that we became aware of the necessity of special tools that would enable us to find solutions to the like problems quickly and efficiently. The same considerations underlie the Quantum software suite that was used as a basis for the development of VETRAZ application suite in the period from 1990 to 1994.

Initially, there were various products developed under customer orders that later formed the nucleus of the suite. Then we effected automatization of the then well-known commercial company in the period from 1994 to 1997.  Owing to the project we succeeded in resolving some organizational problems and what is more important we were given a good opportunity to improve our program product in the environment of a large-scale enterprise with complex organizational structure.

At present LuxSoft is a leading software development house in Belarus. The company has been happy to win awards in international and national contests in the field of finance and business.             

Currently work is underway on the following:

• Information system design tools for FoxPro (DOS/Windows) environment – Software Suite + Quantum.
• Applications for computer-aided accounting and inventory and certain enterprise processes  - Software Suite + VETRAZ
• Operating 1C DB in Visual FoxPro environment (Quantum software & 1C)
